Inez Jönsson

B. 1989, Stockholm, Sweden.

The subtle style of Inez Jönsson engages the viewers, encouraging all to participate and to glimpse straight into, or rather through the canvas. What we meet in this dialogue is what constitutes her piercing minimalism. Ripping both the fabric and the weavings of the canvas apart, Inez unearths something spiritual and light, and yet at the same time solid and physical. Her maculate process proves not only her artistic brilliance, but unveils what lie ahead in the distance after the fog has lifted.
