After a photograph of Börje Ahlstedt as Pierrot
Woven by Flanders Tapestry
The Opposite of Me Is I is the title of a large (2.90 x 10 meters) tapestry based on photographic images of the actor Börje Ahlstedt as Pierrot, in a costume reconstructed from Antoine Watteau’s painting Gilles (1718–1720). This costume is also exhibited, along with a bear costume in mink fur made for an as yet not fully determined character.
